About Me

Hello! I'm Kristin Bauer-Gross - actor, commercial model, speaker and model coach. I’m based in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region in upstate NY but travel extensively (or at least prior to COVID-19 I did).

I’ve aired in over a 100 commercials and have been published in many magazines and catalogs, walked in 100+ fashion shows, featured in dozens of tv shows and films. I spent my 20’s based in Miami Beach modeling full time, my 30’s evolved into traveling for Forbes 500 companies, major automotive brands and corporate clients as a presenter and spokeswoman.

Today in this new world in 2021, my talent career is focused on acting in commercials, tv, film, corporate trainings and helping others get their start in this industry. When I returned to live in rural upstate NY, I found many people come to me for advice and help around getting started, avoiding scams, and finding representation, and booking paid work. I remember the frustration across many stages of my own talent career and started offering coaching, classes and a free series on Instagram called “Model Tips” to help those getting started in a model or talent related career, side hustle, or passion pursuit.

My experience on the other side of the camera has helped me as a coach and talent. I’m a former Booking Director at AMS Models & Talent (now TMT Agency) 2010 to 2012 & also worked in Scouting at Elite Models NYC in 2003.  With these unique experiences as both a talent and agent, I started coaching small town aspiring models out of demand for honest industry advice.

In 2019 I competed for Mrs. New York America and represented my home region of Central New York, which was an incredible experience and helped me parlay my modeling and acting experience into speaking and becoming a public figure. My platform “Courage to Dream” empowers women and girls to find the courage to go for their dreams & goals, no matter what they may be and in spite of naysayers. Mrs. CNY published a 2021 motivational women’s calendar (if you still see a calendar tab at the top of this website then copies are still available for purchase. Mrs. CNY raised thousands of dollars for her non-profits from its sales plus other endeavors!
